At the final review of the ETH research studio “The Hinterlands: Resources” at the chair of “Architecture of Territory”, the students presented their research on the spaces and flows of resources in the metropolitan area of Singapore, Johor and Riau, describing the mechanisms, through which Singapore is connected to a local, regional or global environment. As various types of resources, we plan to focus on food, water, soil, oil/energy as well as human resources.
