An introductory session was held on 4 October 3-5pm at the recently completed CREATE Shared Workshop. The workshop was attended by about thirty researchers from SEC, TUM and MIT. All equipment was demonstrated, including a computer controlled 3 Axis CNC Router for the automated production of models and prototypes. Beyond its advanced facilties, the CREATE Shared Workshop is designed to be a platform for communication and inter-faculty exchange.
